                On the contrary, well understood :y, however, Land of my Fathers is precious to me,  (Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau)  in Welsh. Has an impact on every Welsh heart. Just read the English translation and you will get my drift👍

The 'Old Man is Welsh, and insists it is translated to "Old Land of My Fathers".  He is from Carmarthen and speaks fluent Welsh.  It's both annoying and embarrasing when we are in a pub watching the RWC.  ;D

Ha ha, I bet it is,  :yWelsh is notoriously difficult to translate and can indeed have many correct translations  :: I live in the Rhondda about eight miles from where Evan and James James lived and created this in 1856 :y although I wasn稚 there at the time ;D ;D

This is more like it, even if it is performed by Yanks!  :-\  ;D  :)

Makes your little hairs stand on end and should be England's official anthem.  GSQ should be reserved for UK occasions.  ;)

Agreed, because you know what's coming 8) It was about tge only hymn that we sang in Chapel at school with any vigour ;D

I quite like ELP, but in small doses, however I reckon Rick Wakeman could do Jerusalem some justice 8)
