I think the Animal Farm you speak of was written by the well known Welsh author, and farmyard animal enthusiast, Ivor Biggun.

Although from what I remember of the book when I had to do it at school, its to show that the idealism of communism doesn't work.  And that true communism has never been tried anywhere in the world.

Or at least from what little I remember, as I was mostly badly hung over for english lessons, and what concentration I could muster was spent dreaming what I'd like to do to our horny english teacher....

This gives an interesting insight into a fraction of the corruption and nepotism in and around Pootin .
Nothing new but to me it displays why Navalny is locked away by the regime , he seems an engaging guy .

I think it's quite ironic that in Russia the circumstances of the revolution of 1917 are similar , albeit reversed .

You may have glanced momentarily at the above link but I sat and watched all tonight and found it immensely enlightening and very interesting.
There is no doubt why Navalny was poisoned and then jailed .
It's lengthy , an hour plus ,  and dubbed but if you turn the speed down to 0.75 it's very watchable .
It shows the depths of Putin and the circle of Oligarch's corruption and greed in a most forensic manner and makes it a lot clearer why personal sanctions were levied on so many .
I thought the quote of Tolstoy's near the end summed the whole morass .
" The villains who robbed the people gathered together , recruited soldiers and judges to guard them , and are feasting " .

An unexploded Russian FAB-500 bomb somewhere in Ukraine.

These are 500 kgs of high explosive that the Russians are currently lobbing in amongst residential apartment blocks.

What makes that /\ /\ /\ better is that this was the rescue chopper that they sent in to " rescue " the pilot .....

A Romanian air force MIG 'crashed' in the Black Sea a couple of days ago and a rescue helicopter sent also crashed killing all on board.

There was a report in the Express about it, but I haven't seen any other reports. Strange?   

I imagine there's a lot of people with nervous trigger fingers around there right now, so I wonder what happened and remember that Romania is a NATO member.  So maybe it was an accident or something else is being hushed up.

Apparently these Russians used the lift to get up to the roof of an office block, somewhere in Ukraine.



The Ukrainians switched off the electricity trapping them in the lift. 

I don't know what happened next, but the CCTV picture is dated 03/03/22, Thursday.  Maybe they are still there?
