Now a Russian Major General, a commander of an armoured unit, has been killed.
So now 3 senior Russian officers killed, which cannot be good news for Putin!
:y
Not very good news for them either Lizzie.
Indeed

But let’s hope all the Russian losses may start to weaken the resolve of the rank and file of the military. The Russians have revolted before (1917) against the aims of the Tsar and his officers, so maybe, just maybe, the soldiers, and the Russian people seeing the heavy losses, will go against Putin and his officers.

I know the risks of starting WW2, but perhaps now NATO could go in on a major strike directly against the Kremlin / Putin and other key targets in Russian and Ukraine???
Maybe it is just my frustration of an innocent, democratic, people, being attacked in the way they are, but how can we all sit back and watch these atrocities happen? Yes, the risks would be great, but as we have learnt in history, if you let the dictatorial aggressor get away with it they do not stop with their original intentions (if that is even what they were!) and destroy our democracies.
