The tit in the Renault that parked in our narrow road opposite the last car in a line of parked cars so there was hardly enough room for a car to get through let alone an ambulance or fire engine. I came down to sort my garage for a delivery and there was a lorry trying to get through to deliver roofing to the library just up the road. I had to go and get the keys for the Seat from person in Flat9 to move it out the way so the lorry could pass. Person in flat9 is on oxygen and nebuliser and can hardly walk to there car, had to park it in the flats parking but its further for him to walk. Then the pallet delivery driver tried backing up the road with my delivery, had to go tell him it was okay to drive down and back into car park! He was not the best lorry driver I have seen.

Had a delivery of 20KG budgie seed from Yodel. Normal driver is brilliant, even brings it inside for me. Foreign chap. Todays driver, English I would say, and as he walked down the drive, I said 'Hi there'.....he just launched the box at the doorstep, took a picture grunted and buggered off. Miserable toe rag

B&Q telling me that the two bags of gravel I'd bought weren't reduced from £10 to £8 when they clearly were, so walked out & round the corner to B & M and got the same gravel for £5.99 per bag so not as pissed off as I could have been.

Half an hour ago, just hit one of those damn sleeping policemen that the Spanish love. About 15 inches high and six feet wide. Normally they are well signed , well painted and I observe the speed limit. We were a bit late for an appointment in totally unknown territory. This one was in the shade and the same colour as the road……..Car actually took off. Last time I had that much air in a car would have been 45 years ago.

I thoroughly expected some body work to come off, broken wheel(s) , sump split. Nothing visible. I wonder if it will have knocked the front suspension out of alignment. Yet another nail in its coffin……..

Me thinking I had sorted the handbrake on my sons Civic. I had chocks behind the wheels while working on it, mostly due to our drive having quite a steep slope.
Anyway, when I thought the job was all done I removed the chocks. When I pulled the last one away from the n/s/f wheel the bloody car rolled back and parked itself on my right foot.
I had to stand there yelling until my son ran out and drove it forward so I could get my foot out.
I think I will lose the big toenail, but otherwise it seems ok.
Throbs a bit though.

Me thinking I had sorted the handbrake on my sons Civic. I had chocks behind the wheels while working on it, mostly due to our drive having quite a steep slope.
Anyway, when I thought the job was all done I removed the chocks. When I pulled the last one away from the n/s/f wheel the bloody car rolled back and parked itself on my right foot.
I had to stand there yelling until my son ran out and drove it forward so I could get my foot out.
I think I will lose the big toenail, but otherwise it seems ok.
Throbs a bit though.

I ripped a big toenail out 20 odd years ago when I was loading a car into the back of a truck and my foot got caught under the ramp somehow.  Can't remember how. 

There was claret everywhere, I had a trip to A&E and it's never been the same since.   

As it was a hot sunny day I was wearing my Chinese Safety Boots.

Makes me wince when i see any film of those Bangladeshis breaking up ships with sledge hammers.
