Almost empty flight, but still plenty to piss me off....

Why is boarding always at gate Z99, and not A1? Had loads of time, but still a long walk.
$750 for an upgrade from PE/WT+ to Business/Club - no thanks. 750 pesos then perhaps.
PE/WT+ seats not very comfortable - not a patch on the AA B787 on the way out - and I detest the B787.
PE/WT+ meals very poor. Inedible Quinoa starter, and then Beef Goulash with not even a hint of spice and rock hard carrots.
The woman who changed seats to sit in the one in front of me (PE less than a quarter full), and then immediately put it into full recline. Thankfully the IFE didn't work on that seat, so she moved again. B1tch.
Two Gaylords and 4 quite acceptable trolly dollies. And the head steward would not shut up from using the tannoy every 5 minutes. Yes we know you can't smoke and there are detectors in the lavs - don't need reminding every 5 minutes. Tell us once, an then nick the barstewards. They wonder why people use their own headphones.
Most quality airlines come round with water/juice every hour or two. Not BA.
Remote parking at LHR T5 on arrival, and then a bus to T3. Might as well land at Gatwick and bus us to Heathrow.
"Disabled" passengers who board first (OK) but then spring up like Alf Garnett at the football and sprint down the aisles when getting off.
People who can't do more than 60MPH on a bone dry M25/M3/A303.

There is probably more, but I'm tired, need to stay awake for the Belgian GP and haven't decided what I want for tea yet.

A wait of 1 hour and twenty minutes for the Spa start must have compounded your horrid day.

Why don’t they have a fleet of fat tried vehicles to drive round ten times?

I'm pissed off because I kerbed an alloy as I was leaving Woolacombe car park.  >:(  This is the first alloy that I've ever kerbed so I'm seriously annoyed about it and want to cry.  ::)
Going to look back on old posts to see TB's wheel refurb place suggestion but I've told Mrs YZ that I'm never going back to Woolacombe.  ::)

It's a bastard when a kerb leaps out and attacks your car.  ;)

I am feeling old lately, I'm blaming the heat.  ;D  I spent most of the journey back from Woolacombe to Croyde reversing back on narrow roads for other people. Why is it always me that has to reverse.  ::)

You should have paid the money... For the difference in experience, it's worth every penny.

World Traveler Plus is full of entitlement and often costs almost as much as Club. And because the eejits in charge have no common sense the seats are too close together to recline as much as they do.

The fact that that aircraft was configured by a retarded munchkin does the situation no favours...

The 787 is a much better aircraft.

PE/WT+?  ???

Premium Economy/....... +  :-\
.....with a Working Toilet + bog paper  :y

Those pretentious marketing idiots at BA call their "Premium Economy" product "World Traveller Plus", hence PE/WT+. On the A350 scum class (Economy/World Traveller) is 3-3-3 seating (9 across), whereas PE is 2-4-2 (8 across), so you get slightly more 'girth' in your seat. The seat pitch is also 38" versus 31/32", and being 6'6 tall that matters to me.

Thought of a few more....

PE/WT+ seats have tray tables built into the armrests, not the back of the seat in front. This means that when the cabin is empty (ok that might be unusual), you can't fold the arm rests up and lie cross the empty 3/4 seats next to you. Back in scum class you can do exactly that.

The seats are difficult to operate. Several people in my cabin had to call the big butch (poofter) steward to press the buttons to get the recline to work and un-work. The girlie trolly dollies weren't strong enough.

My seat seemed to be the only one with functioning IFE. Great for me you might think, but no, they kept resetting/rebooting the system to try and get it to work for everyone, which meant I lost my place in the film and had to start again. Only so many times you can put up with watching the same bits of Barbie over and over again.

I'm not giving BA any of my money if I don't have to. I booked through AA, but their flight was £200 more and at a slightly less convenient time (17:30 vs 20:40). At the time I booked, PE was about £1200 return (out to SEA, back from PHX), whereas business was £3500. In the past I've paid $300 to upgrade from PE to Business with AA from LAX. I knew this flight was empty, so $750 was never going to happen, and the check-in guy wasn't in a negotiating mood.

The lesson learned is not to pay the $750 to upgrade with BA, it's to pay the extra £200 for the far superior AA product in the first place. AA don't fly direct to SEA so that was the initial problem.

I don't really agree that the B787 is better than the A350, or B777 for that matter. What matters is the decisions taken by the people who decide on the interior fittings and layout. B787 is the narrowest of the three, so is going to have a more cramped layout. Even so, the AA interior designers have done a much better job than those at BA. Plus there is no point in fitting windows to a B787 when the cabin crew turn them to black so you can't see out anyway. Hateful plane.
