Flight crews...

Woke up to an email this morning regarding my flight to the States tomorrow...

Captain: Hiring a car, then going to explore the bars downtown followed by a hike on Sunday.

F/O: Definitely up for all of that.

Me: Sounds great but we fly home on Saturday evening.

Captain: Oh, you're not doing a four day trip?

No, we're not but thank you for rubbing it in. If you're going to read enough of the pre flight briefing to be able to email the whole crew, at least read the whole thing :-X

Notwithstanding that swapping crews is pretty poor from a CRM perspective, not realising that your return flight is different to the whole crew doesn't bode well for the flight out either.

Cookie pop ups, which seem to be getting increasingly complicated and in some cases like news sites who force you accept them or pay their subscription.  >:(

Yesterday, running into today really. Spent over 6 hours in West Suffolk Hospital yesterday evening. Got away, finally at gone 1am. Unfortunately ,had to leave SWMBO behind in there. Having some frightening angina attacks yesterday so was sent to hospital by our Drs. surgery after an ECG late afternoon.
Got the dreaded phone call about an hour later, get her up to A&E post haste. After various tests and retests, they said sorry, you ain't going anywhere tonight. She hates hospitals anyway but was wheeled off to the Acute Assessment Unit and bedded down for the night.
Went to see her this afternoon and she is now stabilised and no more episodes, but she does have to have a course of blood thinning injections over the next five days. Bugger this i thought, who's going to cook my tea?  :D The freezer stocks will take a bit of a hammering over the next few days. ;D
Oh, the parking cost me nearly £16 too. :o  Vinci, bloody thieves. >:(

Here’s hoping foraspeedy resolution. Rang a friend in Fuengirola to see how they were. Ok , just trying to stay alive. I thought how appropriate as we age.

Ruddy hospital parking makes my blood boil too. Scarborough hospital was paid for by donations from residents. Then given to the nhs. The irony now is you have to pay . I can understand it in a town centre but not in a field. It is like rubbing salt in the wounds ( twice).

Sorry, Ron, only just seen this. She's in the best place, despite the horror stories floating around. At least she will get help if anything happens.
Love to you both, mate.

Thanks for all your kind words fella's. She has now just been moved onto the cardiac ward, en suite room, comfy bed and a telly. She reckons she's been in worse hotels.  ;D

Very sorry to read this, but now is the time to improve your cooking skills, we're  all guilty of taking our other halves for granted sometimes, wishing her a speedy recovery, I hate paying to park anywhere & hospitals come top of the list.

Wishing her a speedy recovery.  She in the right place and the right ward, and sounds like she is as comfortable as she can be.
