Interesting viewing.    I still think that it’s in your genes whether you’re lucky enough to be mobile into old age. There are people ten years older than me climbing mountains and then there’s me, chuffed to bits when I manage to get my socks and pants on.

Topped up my tank earlier at the cheapest filling station I saw today and paid £24.56 for 13.07 litres of diesel.

I sometimes moan about my aches & pains, but my 85 year old father in law has just had his left leg amputated just below the hip and the poor old bugger is still in agony over a week later, despite high doses of very strong pain meds.
Youngest brother in law (51) had cardiac arrest in December and woke up a month later with brain damage.
He was in a recovery place for a while but they have now sent him home to fend for himself as they cant help him.
He is away with the fairies, his finances have gone into freefall, he will never work or drive again, and hes convinced theres nothing wrong with him.
It can only end in tears.
He has a 1983 Porsche 911, A Focus RS, VW camper, Newish Discovery, and newish Transit for work, all sat on the drive but hes convinced he has five other cars but someone stole them while he was in hospital.
Tbh, he would have been better off not waking up.

Yodel supposed to deliver something yesterday, still "Out for delivery" since 7am yesterday
DHL supposed to be delivering 2 drives on a guaranteed next day, stuck somewhere in Brumingham.

That's monumentally oppsed up my week, as waiting for that (mostly work related) shite means I'm having to stay at home, which will mean a bollocking for not attending the office enough times this week. Again.
