Windows 11
I haven't actually seen Windows 11 in the wild yet. Last time I had the 'pleasure' of working on a Microsoft PC was back in February and that was still running Windows 10.
The comments I have seen about Windows 11 make it sound like Windows 10 with added adverts. Is that a good summary? or is it worse than that?

Haven't caught it yet. I think it's living behind the dish washer though and the only food available for it is in the trap, so it's only a matter of time!  :)

Put some food in the microwave, sit up all night, when it goes in for the food slam the door shut. Set the microwave to defrost (it will take ages that way), grab some popcorn, switch on.  ;D

No....don't do that actually. It would be cruel and inhumane, and I'm sorry I posted it now.

As MS lost the plot a while back, its an extension of later Win10 builds, with the constant degradation in quality for no gain.

Although W11 has a new level of annoyance.

I keep getting notifications that my "device" is not capable of taking the Windows 11 update and therefore will no longer be supported after October. Given how little I use my laptop for there is no way I'm shelling out for a new one.
