Well....  He went before jury of his peers who decided that he was not guilty. 

A couple of things though....

Firstly, was the jury directed by the judge to deliver a not guilty verdict.

Secondly, and it's sad that we have to even wonder about this in Britain, but was the jury handpicked to be very 'peerlike' and so deliver the 'correct' verdict?

For a start off, the charge should have been incitement to murder.
Did the CPS send the office junior to prosecute while he hired Rumpole of the Bailey to defend him ?
Theres a bad smell about the whole thing.
He states on camera for all to see / hear that the protesters who he doesnt agree with should have their throats cut and be got rid off.
How could any juror return a not guilty plea ?
It just doesnt add up.

Exactly or even if he'd been a Tory councillor, he'd have been thrown to the wolves like Lucy Connolly was.

It's always pissed me off how the media refer to Lucy Connolly as a Tory Councillors Wife.  What's that got to do with anything? 

Hed her husband been a Labour councillor, would they have made such a thing about that?
