scumbags
Thats the trouble these days, law is useless, watching Road Wars, scumbags that steal cars and trash them just get a slap on the wrist, suspended sentenses, or community service.
They should beat the crap out of them and shove them in prison, teach them some respect!
Not got a garage Markie?
I`ve got 4 garages now Tunnie.......but there not for running automobiles
Yep I callled the Police at the scene, brick still in car etc. They second guessed where i was as there had been 2 or 3 cars reported that same night ( it was only 830pm in a well lit carpark on a main road!)
Despite this mini crime spree they still havent ( may not) allocate it to an officer. I havent kicked up and I wont.
This is Britain this is now what we are used to. Like it Live with it or move out of it is my philosophy now
They are compelled to get a PC to deal with this! It's a crime, and as such, should be treated as one, and investigated thoroughly.
You pay your taxes and you have an absolute right to expect this. Yes ok, Police may have serious crimes to deal with and it may take a little longer than you like, but the "service" you pay for should be delievered.
They should have an officer collecting evidence, looking for CCTV, campaigning for witnesses to come forwards etc, in addition a Scene of crime officer should attend at the first possible opportunity to collect foresics from your car.
If the (assuming here) phone monkey or PC you spoke too wasn't interested, I would call or visit the nearest nick, demand to speak to a PC. If no luck, demand the Duty Sergeant. If still no luck, tell them you'll take their collar numbers and contact their Professional Standards Dept. over their neglect of duty.
Then watch how quickly you get a panda car around!!

In all reality - it only takes one person on the end of a phone who can't be bothered, it results in feelings such as yours, and has the effect of giving the Police service a bad name, through a very small minority.
