Cheers Tunnie,

Funilly enough, I use that ATS place all the time for my Minibus and Van and have always been happy with the results.  I will stroll along there shortly and find out.

I find that these sort of places are the better option rather than crawling about under the car on the driveway.  I will tackle most things apart from exhausts!

Have a look at www.longlife.co.uk  is there one near you? they did me a bl00dy g00d job with a sweet big oval tailpipe for £389, custom made to fit, & mid sport option on the sound, well pleased.
I got trade quote & Kwikshit price for cat back system & they were both £290 best I could get, so for another ton, I got all stainless with a lifetime warranty  :y

No worries in a couple of years 'cos the 'Kwikfit shitter system' falls apart again  ::)

Happy new thingy

John (Hic!)

Agreed. I did this and it was an extremely wise choice given that I never have to worry about it ever again.

I got a quiet one that looks the same as standard too...

To get a TC card, you could always joing Authobahn stormers.  Membership gets you a TC apparently.  I am thinking of doing this myself as I detect a slight blow in my system.  I think that membership is around £20 and, after you have bought a few things like an exhaust, a couple of oil changes etc. you will have made your £20 back.

A general question to everyone - if you buy the parts on TC, would the Vaux garage then fit them or would you have to go elsewhere for just fitting?

Fit a standard one yourself. 1 - 2 hours.

The long-life price quoted above includes the new exhaust being built onto your car and therefore it comes fitted at no additional cost.

I got my TC by joining autobahnstormers for £20 per year. I made that back in the 1st month!

My local stealers is great about it and often extends the TC discount rate to non TC covered/listed parts with no prompting. I just walk in and he remembers the TC number off the top of his head.

I think they all run when I walk in!  ::)  ;D Even the woman on reception asks if i want parts.  ;D

He just types 'autoba' into his search and picks Autobahnstormers from the list of possibles .....  ;)  ;)
