indicators at roundabouts

is it just me or has anyone else notice that too many drivers can't seem to bothered using their indicators at roundabouts ???

very frustrating if you are waiting to pull onto it  >:(

I must admit I don't always use mine, but you really shouldn't pull out anyway surely until you can see where the person is going. Whats to say someone hasn't left their indicator on by accident? surely if you pulled out onto a roundabout it would be your fault? :-?

Thought a lot of newish cars (especially Volvos) aren't fitted with indicators as standard  :-? :-? :-? ;)

I simply don't trust indicators, I wait till I see some evidence of a maneuver before I 'go'....... ::) ::) ::)

Back in the old days remember following a car driven by a woman (sorry ladies).  She stuck her hand out of her window indicating a right turn - her passenger, a man, stuck his hand out of nearside window, waved it to attract attention and pointed very forcibly to the left.  Guess what - she turned left!!

I've noticed that, either they're not fitted as standard, or they have failed.

I would be putting in a warranty claim, myself.

I simply figured that (just like most-all other vehicular courtesies) using indicators with the intention of signalling intent to aid other motorists must`ve been outlawed sometime in the last 10-15 years. ::)

dropped my phone into my mug of tea, and nearly had a crash, not doing that again, bloody stupid idea  ;D ;D ;D ;D
