Heaven and Earth...

...is the title of a new book by Professor Ian Plimer, the Australian geologist, in which he shows that ‘anthropogenic global warming’ is a dangerous, ruinously expensive fiction, a ‘first-world luxury’ with no basis in scientific fact.

Ahhh. Music to my ears.   :) :) :)

I strongly recommend reading all six short pages of this interview.  :y :y

We've been told ten years ago that now the weather  in this part of the world would be like the South of Spain, well, I'm still waiting  ::)

I think there is definetly some "green shoots" of common sense starting to appear on the subject of global warming. Some people who aren't too thick to have an original thought have had enough.  >:(

Go on to google and type "global warming is" and look at the suggestions ;D

I reckon that will happen when children currently being brought up and brainwashed to believe all this rubbish leave school. It was in another thread a while back about primany school children having anxiety about damaging the planet. >:( >:(

I got out just in time :o

.....it is with great regret that I must disagree with you, Ms Zoom :( but ameloriate that statement by expressing the following :-* :-* :-* :-*

New Labour solidified their stance on this manipulative way forward when the dear departed Leader was held in high esteem.

His flair for camp, almost foppish, chummy, shirt-sleeved delivery was instrumental in softening up the populace so the seeds of such crazy ideas were willingly cultivated by an enamoured following.

The systematic destruction of the means necessary to express opinion to the contrary and have it respected by the administration has meant, in my view, that the Rubicon of public awareness to these dangers has indeed been crossed.

You are quite correct of course, we 'aint seen nothin' yet!

The wretched thing about this environmental debate is the almost evangelical fervour with which it is conducted, labelling those who prefer to establish their own opinion based on sensible investigation to be castigated as heretics!

This sort of input clouds the issue somewhat and is typical of those who profess from a position where the drastic results of such proposed actions, will not be felt!

Yes, and one should note that he is brainwashed advised by Jonathan Porritt and Tony Juniper, neither of whom have any scientific qualifications.

Furthermore, you will see here that they both recently campaigned for the Green Party. I always thought that, by tradition, the Royal Family stayed well clear of party politics... :( :(
