A very thought provoking article Nick and I will be purchasing his book as soon as possible
.
We definately require educated, well balanced, and fully informed input into the environmental debate before we throw the baby out with the bathwater!
8-) 8-) 8-)
.....that unfortunate child has long since been ejected
Ms Zoom - now let's see when that was........ ah yes, when New Labour gained their second term of government
I disagree Zulu, we have not actually arrived at that point....yet.......but we are fast approaching it, and that witnessed so far will seem insignificant compared what could come next
There is still time for the truth to come out before the politicians take far greater action against our every day lives 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
.....it is with great regret that I must disagree with
you, Ms Zoom

but ameloriate that statement by expressing the following

New Labour solidified their stance on this manipulative way forward when the dear departed Leader was held in high esteem.
His flair for camp, almost foppish, chummy, shirt-sleeved delivery was instrumental in softening up the populace so the seeds of such crazy ideas were willingly cultivated by an enamoured following.
The systematic destruction of the means necessary to express opinion to the contrary and have it respected by the administration has meant, in my view, that the Rubicon of public awareness to these dangers has indeed been crossed.
You are quite correct of course, we 'aint seen nothin' yet!
The wretched thing about this environmental debate is the almost evangelical fervour with which it is conducted, labelling those who prefer to establish their own opinion based on sensible investigation to be castigated as heretics!
