Wheel Alignment for Joculars...
« on: 20 February 2007, 22:54:55 »

A note to the Scottish based Meega owners..

I've had a problem with my Meega pulling to the left (who doesn't) and also having a slight judder between 75-80 mph. This is despite having new tyres fitted and balanced a couple of weeks ago.

Just found a place in Edinburgh that does four-wheel digital imaging alignment (whatever that means!). It's a tiny place - don't even think they have a website - and really difficult to find but well worth the effort. The car is rock solid on the road now. No pull left or right, straight as a die and smooth up into 3 figures. It's called CLCM and its in Sighthill, Edinburgh.

Cost was only about £40 but included check and adjustment for camber, toe-in/toe-out etc and 3 page printout detailing measurements, checks etc.

Well worth a visit!

Nice one mate... think I'll be giving them a go, might get my nearside wishbone replaced though as I'm rather suspicious of it despite being told by multiple garages that all my wishbone bushes are OK.

I do my best to avoid it regardless of the sun position
(nothing against Scotland - I love it, just this place, well our office to be precise ;) )

I used to take one of my previous omega's to that Vx dealer for servicing (company car). They used to record each service by putting another ding in your door!
