Same as my wife's then Hyundai Lantra. Everything was a PITA to do under the bonnet of that car. There was that little room for one of the poly V 'fan belts' that it had to go in side ways passed its pully and the chassis leg!

Also as mentioned somewhere else, turning circles. FWD's CV joints prevent the same amount of steering lock. I once used a 825 Rover for a day, the turning circle on it was atrocious - you needed a football field to turn around.

x25xe - scrappy - (Confirmed)

Its been mentioned about going to the local scrappy, its the best I have been to. You can freely walk around and help yourself to bits... last time I was there they had:

98 mini facelift 2.0 CD, most of engine intact, full interior, autobox,
96 N CD, engine stripped had few interior bits left
couple of others that been stripped well.

Its been a while since i have been so might be in luck, if we find and new one i think we will have to strip it.

If you want to visit the scrappy bring welly boots!!! - Its very muddy down there. Its about a 20 min drive from me  :y

Premier Inn at Brackley Hatch could be good for you, not sure on prices but its right next door (literally) to the Green Man pub.

Very famous... Graham Hill used to go for a pint there before the race at Silverstone which is just down the road
