Do we need to go out and buy hats??   :D
Only if you're a girl ;)

Thought all you Engerlish chaps and chapettes wore hats at weddings??
Err, no.  Unless you go to them posh ones with the silly tophats....

bit like us and kilts then - public perception and all that   ;D
Phew! I'm glad that doesn't really happen often. Blokes in skirts and all that... ;D

Did you know the ice you are skating on is quite thin here???      ;)
Even though I feel safe at this distance,  :-X

8-)  no probs....  Got to be able to take it if you are happy to give it out.

stick and banter that is, nowt else...   ;D
But as I may meet you at Drax etc, I need to know if you're bigger than me ;D

6 foot, hairy faced, 15 and a half stone and streetwise, been out to play with the nice public for almost 25 years??  Your call.....   :y   ;D
Thats fighting talk ;)

Leak appears fixed....   long term watch on it.  will keep you all advised....

a bazillion thanks to James V6CDX for his invaluable assistance with that....

and everyone else for the earlier efforts also//

afraid we didn't get as far as looking for sockets on the end of the hand-brake cable , as the stat housing and transfer pipe proved "obstinate" ....

I'll see about getting a garage to do the handbrake cable , and retrieve any sockets next week.

Unlikely to be sockets there (they'll all be in people's engine bays, please check!), but my rachet spanner may well be on there.... ;D

There's a socket in this engine bay, somewhere by the o/s chassis leg ;) , we couldn't find it in the dark
