Knowing the Toyota drivers around here, the pedal would never get close enough to the mat to get caught, if it did it would do the general public a great service  ;)

Recall the drivers instead  :P

Pruisesesese should not be allowed out of the congestion charge zone as the drivers seem determined to drive just on electric at 27mph everywhere with a holier than thou expression.  Do they not realise that over the whole life of the car they are highly polluting because of the material used and their complexity will see them uneconomical to repair before a standard car.  Plus out of town they are more polluting than a modern diesel.

I HATE them and their clueless, infuriating drivers

Burn them

Does anyone else see a Prius on the road and suddenly get the desire to scream past, grinning, with their V6 practically at the rev limiter?

I'm sure they are saving CO2 emissions but they cause plenty more from my car. :P

Electric cars are more poluting than any car made in the last 30 years! Oh yes they are greener than green when running but how do they charge them? Oh yes that would be electricity which is produced using coal!!! To quote my old friend Walter.... "DUMBASSES!"

On a more serious note, yes I can. Going on past performance, they would most likely cover it up and deny all responsibility until a class action lawsuit forced their hand.  >:(
