Here it is

And in the space of 2 months
With the weather experienced in the UK it is hardly surprising that a poll will reflect a small percentage increase in people who do not believe in global warming. The rise from 15% to 25% who say they do not believe is hardly earth shattering.

Ah, and just to add January 2010 has been the warmest on average, world wide, for 32 years:

Note: This is by "Dr Spencer is a leading and well-qualified climate change sceptic"
Yes, climate change IS taking place: the question is what is causing it. Now that can be continually debated!

Yes, the average is a record (albeit only in the last 32 years), but an update from Spencer (see link below) shows the spike is mainly due to higher SSTs (Sea Surface Temperatures), probably caused by El Nino. There is an anomalous "hot spot" in the South Pacific. This is being cited as possibly the result of bathymetric (deep ocean) vulcanism, but in the words of Sir Patrick Moore, we simply don't know. Certainly, in way of contrast, land temperatures in the NH have been very cold with records tumbling in many places. It is believed, for example, that the US is experiencing its coldest winter for 25 years.** Covering 70% of the globe, the oceans play a huge role in determining climate. Of course, the oceans are heated by infra-red absorption which, in turn, is affected by cloudiness. As I understand it, the atmosphere does not heat the oceans, and CO2 is therefore not a player in that process.

** Update:
Alert in Baltimore/Washington (sorry about the caps.)
"LOOKING BACK AT THE BIGGEST STORM OF RECORD FOR WASHINGTON DC... THE JANUARY 1922 KNICKERBOCKER STORM...28.0 INCHES OF SNOW WAS PRODUCED FROM 3.02 INCHES OF LIQUID WATER. CURRENT FORECASTS FOR THIS EVENT HAVE TOTAL LIQUID FALLING FROM THIS STORM APPROACHING 3 INCHES...WHICH ACCORDINGLY WOULD CREATE A SNOWFALL THAT WILL RIVAL THE KNICKERBOCKER STORM TOTAL. GENERALLY ACROSS THE REGION...20 TO 30 INCHES OF SNOW WILL FALL BY SATURDAY EVENING."

Maybe the climate's changing back to 1922.
