Kw had 2 options open to him in this matter

1) Contact an admin via pm to discuss the matter

2) Create a public post

The sensible approach would have been to take course of action no 1.

Those who wish to 'stir' choose option 2

Just how is it "stirring"?

But while we are on the subject of stirring/creating issues, surely if there was a "new" rule about swearing which included we can no longer even use blanking characters then....

1. Why was I the only one to get the PM, surely a public announcement would have been better?

2. Why are others (including ironically, the very same who think i'm a caveman) doing exactly what I've been told not to and getting away with it?

Double standards, or just a good old fashioned witch hunt?

We do not operate double standards at all.

Some members have history and those said members we have less tolerance with.

The said post started out a point where it was only going to go one way given the histpry of the originator and hence that lower (and self inflicted) level of tolerance was applied.

As i told you a couple of years ago, i am still learning, and believe me you have a lot to teach

It's easy:

1. People are seldom what they pretend to be on a forum

2. If you tell people about your personal life on a public forum, you will be ridiculed. So don't do it.

3. If I upset you by insulting you or taking the piss, remember it's not really me, it's probably someone pretending to be horrible when they are really very nice.
