Frickin' caravans!!!
« on: 30 April 2010, 22:41:39 »

Well no prizes for guessing it's a bank holiday. Because of these sad tarmac vermin it took me nearly an hour longer to get back from Tilbury dock than it did to get there. >:( However i am forgiving of nature, i have to be because i'm spending the next two nights in mine & showing the Consul off in her new yellow coat @ :-   The Cleethorpes Festival of Transport. Beertent (thought i'd get that one in!) music, stalls & plenty of classic/vintage cars & trucks. It's being held at the new showground.
If you're nearby & want to have a look follow the brown tourism signs for Pleasure island & it'll be signposted from there.

I won't be there until 5pm tomorrow but it'll be in full swing all day. Should be good, i know the organizers!!! :y 8-)

Saved from the indignity of the handsome-Beastie being forced to drag a portaloo `round the countryside. ;D

Repeat after me: "Beastie`s not a toilet-tug!" :P

I,ll second you on that Hercules,it,s the bloodly sunday drivers that hold me up,and the speed limited trucks which are made to toddle along at their most fuel efficent speed. They are a real problem to overtake without even thinking about that outside lane being there.

......with insufficient air in tyres that have nearly decomposed in the sunlight and with wheel-bearings that have only once ever seen grease; at the factory where they were made. :(
