If you're seriously in to racing, it doesn't get any better than GT5...gotta be played and seen to be believed.

I'm sure the Xbox could do the same IF it's lucky enough to have good enough software written for it.

BUT....it's no good with them soddin gamepads.

G25/G27 only to do it justice.


My daughter has been doing the licence today - but with Dualshock 3 - I'm having a go later with a wheel.

The start cars are all so slow!

I have found that the PS3 is a pretty decent BluRay player

PS3 is the only Bluray to have at the moment - seeing as its Fony's current 'top dog', whenever they change the bluray spec (which they do frequently), they always ensure that the gayStation 3 is firmware updated at the same time the spec is released...

...if any other company did that sort of stunt, everyone would be up in arms, but Fony have their loyal fanboy following of BMW drivers ;)

Driving Force EX and GT5 can only detect 1 and not 2 very odd

Anyone here got the G25/35 wheel and GT5? I see reports elsewhere that it can't cope very well with the 1st to 2nd gear change on a standing start..

Pretty good graphics

Painfull to navigate menus
Controls are weird (L2 not brake R2 not accelerator - unlike most other driving games)
My biggest complaint and why I prefer GT4 is this

THERE IS NO NURBURGRING in Arcade mode.

meant to say Martin - do the first 2 sets of AMG "Special Events" and you unlock The 'Ring  :y
