As I live in a flat, individual dishes aren't permitted. The management company would probably allow a communal dish at the consent of all the flat owners but there's no point as we've all got cable. Apart from that, a dish would mean subscribing to Sky and that just ain't going to happen.

......and if you do stump up your hard earned to Sky, you get an unhealthy dose of adverts throughout the race as a bonus! >:(

See if anyone else wants German TV on 19.2E (Not the Sky / Freesat cluster) :y

I was a bit worried but I will have to watch it on Spanish Sexta TV (free) with the sound turned down and have UK radio commentary via the Internet. Sorted. :y

Can you access this with a Sky box and Sky satelite dish?
I still have them both, after moving to Virgin a few months ago

Initially, thinking a BBC highlights program would be Good news. All the "boring" bits cut out  ::)  etc etc.  >:( should stop em moaning!

Sky do present a good program. Usually quite technical, hopefully anyway, I would be interested to see what they come up with, and if they stop showing live real time really exciting shots of static wags, family and  team members of the the driver on a hot lap, INSTEAD of the driver on a hot lap  >:(

However, I ain't paying to watch it. For the money we already pay sky I expect a go in the mclaren itself never mind paying even more!

... And I'm not sure how it works but I don't think sky or the BBC have any say in the live broadcast of the race? Do they?  :-/ isn't it down to the home nation to produce the coverage? Or a production company or sumat? So no chance of improvement there I guess.  :'(

Watch it on RTL instead then - that seems to be the most popular choice at the moment, the least popular is Sky

well i like f1 and watch every meeting but as i havnt got sky it means that i will miss out.
the only good thing is that i will have to find a pub that shows it!! still dont think there will be many pubs open at 2 in the morning
a couple of years ago our local picture house showed a special screening of the f1 live that was very good but again you having to pay.
i am so angry about this wish i had a tv licence then i would write to the bbc saying i wasnt going to pay.

Get a cheap digital satellite system from idl, B&Q ect and point at 19.2E and watch on RTL £50 vs £600PA
