Try this... What's your favorite car? Other than an omega of course, which we all know is best. Or anything petrol powered....plane train boat... Anything?

My own view is that if you can't talk about things in General Discussion apart from cars, what's the point of posting at all? But, enough from me, vote in the poll.

I voted no. I've noticed that you've put some varied topics on here lately, some that I've found interesting. I also like to know your point of view on a subject in the same way as I used to look for Den's

Shouldnt be any need for such a poll on a forum which is supposed to be friendly,inclusive and open to all types of people.Although I do think your intelligence does seem to cause annoyance to some folk. Perhaps the forum is slowly sliding down the lowest common denominator route with the rest of society in general ?

I would prefer, if possible... Should Nicbat venture out of gen chat once in a while....?  Or similar.

Nobody is asking you to stop posting, although that's entirely up to you of course. More to match your posts to the type of forum your on a little.... Perhaps....?

As Albs said, if you're sure you're not going to have any interest in a particular topic ...... skip it & don't read it. A bit like an 'off' button on a telly for those that like to complain if they've nowt  to complain about.

This part of the forum is for general chat (clue in the title ?) for non car related discussion.
I have known Nick to venture out of chat quite a few times, but I dont think he is particularily mechanically knowledgeable, so it has been mainly to request advice for problems, which is the main reason the whole forum was set up in the first place.
