bacon rolls on the BBQ for lunch and a curry in the evening sounds like a winner to me .. :)

As the BBQ bit went very quiet I intend to bring mine anyway, just to be sure there is one .. :) It will be available for anyone to use ....  :)

Is there a kettle available for coffee etc ??

Hmm... Must sort the bacon stuff actually! Am I supposed to be nipping into Makro to grab a couple of catering packs of bacon or not? Also... Bread or rolls? Sauces? Tea and coffee stuff? Case of Coke (or something else if everyone prefers)?

Don't mind grabbing it all if people want me to, I'm bound to have a "Price List" somewhere from when I've done charity refreshments :-X ::)

IMHO ... food wise .. probably best if folks bring their own, saves a whole load of waste / shortages /wrong stuff !!  But if you want to get some stuff and make a fortune flogging it run the canteen .. I have no problem with that .. :)

Not really good for anything spanner work wise at the moment (although I'll happily sit on someone's shoulder to advise and give moral support), hence having to pay someone to do the MOT work, so think I'm in charge of the griddle. Sure someone was bringing a griddle and a water boiler... I'll make sure I've got a tea pot (tastes so much better made in a pot!) if that's what people want

I'm happy for all to bring their own if people want to, just thought that I'd offer to grab a bulk lot and split the cost if people wanted :y

Don't worry about the barbie if it's a problem, Nigel. I have a table top folding grill that will be perfect for Bacon butties and I believe TheBoy is bringing something similar.

I can borrow an electric urn for brews. Reminds me. I must pick it up this weekend. ::)

I did offer the services of my barbie too IIRC - still quite happy to bring it :) (Either of them - small round or larger square)

I'll bring some disposable cups - I have around 70 left over from a previous event. And paper plates etc.

So are we bringing our own (daytime) food? I'm easy either way, but obviously need to know, as will have to go to shops. I know Lazydocker has been volunteered to be chef.

Way I see it:
Cooking facilities - Kevin Wood (gas griddle)/TheBoy (electric griddle - aaronjb bringing extn lead)
Hot water facilities - Kevin Wood (Urn)
Disposable cups/plates - TheBoy
Food (bacon/bangers/egg/rolls) - somebody to get, or we bring own??
Butter/sauces - daft us all bringing some??
Teabags ???
Coffee ???
Sugar ???
Soft drinks - I picked up a load of coke from costco earlier, but probably not enough to go around (think it was a 30 pack).
Ought else?

I shall be attending...I'll bring along a box of 24 diet cokes, 24 regluar cokes and some other bits and pieces.
I'll also bring some burgers and sausages.
I've got a Halfords 150pc tool set, and bits and pieces which I'm more than happy to bring.
I'll bring my car cleaning stuff aswell and anything else I use for preparing cars.
Whichever vehicle I bring will otherwise be fairly empty, so am happy to take other bits if required  :y

One hopes one will travel in the manner to which one is accustomed .....  I have this mental picture of the take away curry being collected in the Bentley ....  :D :D :D :D :D :D

(I know ... from a practical / expense point of view something else is better .. but I'd just like to see the take away owners face ....  :)  )

I just hope he doesn't turn up with the 3.2 Estate... There's a danger I may want to start counting the pennies in the piggy bank ::)

But collecting the Take away in the Bentley would be funny :D

Incidentally... I don't know the area brilliantly but am willing to play fetch if no-one else volunteers, although that may not be the best idea if my back is still bad :-/ Can always drive if someone else wants to lend a hand ;)

The estate is now sold Paul, so have no fear  :D
It'll be either a 2005 1.6 Focus, or the Bentley...my Omega has been sat for 3 weeks since I last used it and the RFL has expired.
So Nige and Paul you may get your wish, and I agree it would be funny, although I don't want to appear to be a complete moron turning up in a Bentley  ;D
