Cheers all.

Now back from a week in Keswick.... and was hoping to get straight back into it....

However due to a small health issue, its gonna be taking a back seat for a week or 2  :'( :'( :'( :'(

While away a cyst in my chest decided to become infected and grow, and then burst....some what spoilt the holiday being under doctor / hospital.

I currently have a hole, about an inch diameter in my chest, weeping rather nasty gunk, and im on horse strength antibiotics.

pic here for the non squeamish - deliberately not just embedded the image

He's just growing another one to handle the volume of gaseous emissions. ;)

Cheers.

Initial hopes were to go to the lakes in it last week...

then hopes to come to the keswick meet in it next week.

No way will I have the ability to do the remaining bits before then, and then MOT it  :'(

looks like the old car has a stay of execution yet.  ;D

Well my chest isnt holding me back fully anymore, so did a couple of light jobs in a spare half hour tonight, and want to get it sorted now..

Swapped the Tax and plates over now the cherished transfer is done
put in the new pollen filter
new wiper blades all round
new rear wiper arm
played with bonnet release.
fixed a vac leak in the bagpipes vac pipes with some airline tubing.

main purpose was to get rid of some of the spares out the boot  ;D

hopefully get some more done over the next few nights.
