theres a citroen ax gt on ebay today right now for 350 sovs,theres also a new and unused rotrex supercharger almost like the one fitted to the saxo engine in the Ax in the youtube vid for £1500 sovs. Id say for about 3 grand you could upset a whole heap of supercars and jap stuff with a 200 hp old Ax 

the Ax weighs in at 700kgs which makes it very light,and tbh if you used perspex glass,chucked the interior and stuff it could even go less than that.
Anyway its food for thought,i do think a 3.2 omeega would be quicker possibly top end but accelerating away from a bank
