Now awaiting the overwhelming chorus of those chanting 'one rule for them, another for us'....

Different story if it was something precious to you that was being driven off at serious speed, back in the day, before ANPR, helicalchoppers etc etc.

As said, the norm back then, almost 20 years ago, and different today, so caw canny with the crits, please.....   ;)

No crits, you should try my Job...... :-X
Not aimed at you, but fully expect a splash of lobbydossers to chime in at some stage....   ;D

Police chases are cool! I'm all for the police getting some sideways action chasing scrotes! Don't see many now though, even in  Sunderland!

Hahahaha! The bull horn, that's my favourite! I don't drive the machines at work, even though I've got my license. Since I joined the watch we have loads of drivers and the driving school is overbooked so no EFAD (emergency fire appliance driver course) for me - yet!)

I was in the military police, we even had some good chases there, and got chased - that was scary! Hahahaha! Although a lwb Landrover is no where near as fast as a Senator!

They are fun when watching them on TV but not so much fun when you are the one being chased. :-[ ::) ;D
M11, 1/4/09 - "I didnt think I was doing that speed"
"It took us over 3 miles to catch up with you" :-[

God bless Chigwell police. I expected to be without a licence for quite some time. :y

175 in a Honda NSX at Millbrook banked oval, but sadly as a passenger.
Did drive at 150 in a Carlton GSI 3000 back in the early 90's.
Sadly, I've never had the chance to stretch my MV6's legs as I've never taken it on a private track or Autobahn although may have slightly broken the speed limit on the odd occassion. ::)

I managed 111mph in my old Mondeo Turbo Diesel...
125 in my BMW
and 125 in a Toyota Avensis...  All on Private roads I wull add....

The easiest was the BMW, it might have gone a little quicker, but, I ran out of road...

My Miggy has got Speed Limiter set sill low (85mph) which can be over-ridden, but, kicks in every 5mph after 85...  I got ticked off with trying to get it over 100, So 100 is the top on that...
