Quick Stag LPG query
« on: 28 February 2011, 19:32:25 »

Is the wiring to go to tank (for cut off solenoid and gauge) part of the main Stag loom, or do I need to provide the cable between ECU and tank?

Open the boxes ;) ;) ;) ;)

Fairly sure I saw a length of wire to run front-rear (although it may only be for the sender or may be 3/4 core) :-/ :-/

Last one came with, but ordered front and rear end at once last time. Either way, should be supplied.

I echo my comment above... Check the boxes! There is a length of cable to run front-rear  but can't remember if it's just for the sender, just for the solenoid or for both ;) ;)

No no, I didn't mean it isn't there but should be. I meant it's part of the kit, Groomer won't need to supply his own.  :D ;)

He stole all my spares at the weekend... Told me that if I didn't give them to him I'd be his next target :-X :-X ::) ::)

Think I've got some either here or in the spares already taken ;)

Hypothetical question.

Is 3 core mains cable OK for this?

Not really (you cowboy!)... But 3 core Automotive cable would be ;)

It would do the job but not my choice... Not as flexible for a start ::)

But I'm fairly sure I specified it (and saw it) in our kit ;)

TB, does this mean you're busy sorting the rear end kit?

There is no wire in either the front end kit or the rear end kit, just checked through them both.Am going to try verify the function of the loom cables without connectors and label them up refering to the cd circuit diagram. The printed circuit that came with the kit is in Polish, no good to me. When I've done it I'll post up on this thread.I'm now waiting for the postie to deliver a replacement inlet nozzle as on nipping up the 1st one I snapped it :o :'(

Have a look here, cliff:

Stag 300 Plus manual in English (includes wiring diagrams):
http://www.ac.com.pl/public/pubonline/cms/files/Programy-i-instrukcje-obslugi/en/Stag%20200_300_plus_prem/ver_2_4%20ENG-STAG-200%2CSTAG-4%2CSTAG-300%20PLUS%2CSTAG-300%20PREMIUM%20manual.pdf

Page containing links to all documentation and software updates:

EDIT: an OOPS! Regarding the nozzle. Easily done. I threadlock them then just nip them up hand tight with a nut driver. With threadlock they won't go anywhere.

Or here Cliff: http://www.motogas.com/software/ENGSTAG200STAG4STAG300_PLUSSTAG300_PREMIUM_manual.pdf

I'm sure I saw a length of cable in one of the boxes in TB's Kit :-/ :-/ Could be a packing error (either way) I suppose :-/ Anyway, I'd recommend you call them and ask them to include it when they send the Vaporiser :y

Sender pack has a small 3 core. Not unwrapped the main loom, but found the 2 cables that should go to tank/sender - just need to check if they are long enough, else I need to get some
