Are you saying a 2ton Jag with a 3ltr diesel engine carnt manage 50mpg average.....

Buy a 1.6ltr diesel Ford....that can

It can only really be the inlet track

And the inlet manifold gasket it was  new one now fitted and wheeze free, first Tim since owning the car.
