MOT'd the bike, then took it for a little 65m ride - was flipping slippery this morning in the rain, so I came home ;D

Washed TBE and gave the bike the pressure washer, then started tidying up the garage after last weekend's ordeal.

This evening, nothing mechanical, programming in a new report for my brother's stock system.
Hmmm, pressure washing bikes. Hmmm...
Not at close range (learnt that ages ago, when my Kawasaki became an awasaki ;D), although the area where the centre stand once was had it from about 1m away, as was caked in it from the oil leak.

Fixed the loose side skirt on Big Blue, thanks to some replacement clips from Elite Pete (cheers matey)

1 broken clip, 1 detatched clip, 2 missing clips!

Spent the day changing out the fuel pump set up on the Carlton, cleaned up and painted the mounting plate, fitted new filter, known working pump and just cleaned and painted the regulator as well. Went to check the electrics before re-installing only to find I had left my multi meter on for the last month and no PP9 battery's in the house....... Damn!
As it's Sunday, there's nothing open here so time to take a rest and enjoy the sun for a wee while!

Washed the M3, checked the tyre pressures.. noticed that the front left isn't holding pressure well - it didn't with the previous tyres either which probably means the rim is hideously corroded on the bead. D'oh.

Yesterday I cleaned the inside of the windows as they were misting up too easily.  I then wrecked my arm pushing it deep into the scuttle to find the usual accumulation of damp tree based crud.  So, out came the piece of cable I keep for this job, cleaned the drain hole and poured a load of water to rinse out the scuttle.

Result - I now have a nice clean scuttle and windows that should resist misting up  :y.

Nah, Michelin PS2 - the previous Accelera Alpha's went flat (more quickly) too, so I figure the bead is in an awful state and there wasn't enough tyre sealant applied.. I'll pop back to the tyre place and see if they'll try and reseal it.

Filled it up with £90 of fuel and promptly emptied it again towing the pikey van 200 miles back from Devon.  ::) ::)

Cleaned up a large chunk of loom ready for a separate project :-X. My soldering also seems to be improving...
