After fitting the new exhaust I was able to take the Elite out on a test drive today only to find I still have the same sound as I did driving down from Scotland on the 10th April, so back to the garage and took the rear N/S wheel off and checked the wheel bearing, well the answer is new wheel bearings on order from All German Parts, the last rears I did for my brother on his 2.2 Dti Elite estate were not as bad as this one. Don't think it would have lasted much longer, also the old exhaust had failed in tithe mid section and the back box so just as well I fitted the cat back system. Also did an oil change as not been done since I last did it before it was sold last year. Now on 82,000 miles and in need of a little TLC as cam cover on drivers side has a small leak, also need to do a auto box oil change.

Removed rear N/S swinging arm to replace rear wheel bearing, two new bearing kits on order from all German parts with a 10% discount (nice). Sod of a job to do but will be back to smooooth driving when done, oh the joys of driving an Omega. Rebuild set for Saturday afternoon with just 4 x12 hour night shifts until then, I love my job I do. :D :D :D :y

Liberated an 8' branch from a tree...

Then spent my break liberating said branch from behind the cab ::)

If I hadn't then there might have been blood shed had one more person made a comment about it >:(

Suffice to say, if anyone near Badshot Lea feels an urge to, you can now get a truck down the length of Crown Lane unimpeded :-X

Should have popped in for a cuppa. I've done some pruning so it'd have been fine. ::)

Fixed the radiator fan on the M3 over the weekend .. well, actually, I mostly stood around and supervised as two friends dismantled most of the front of the car so I could avoid crippling myself again as I had done a few days earlier.

I have discovered that there are no good DIY guides for the M3 for the jobs I want to do. I really should start writing some..
