Began the Silver Bullet's front-end strip-down after last week's full frontal unfortunate demolition attempt incident.

Am hopeful that I can straighten the rad, but will deffo need new headlight adjusters .... I reckon ....  :o

That's the last time I let TB get involved at a meet :-[

Pump is spot on not a thing wrong with it although i'm changing it anyway. It just seems the belt gave up, i have seen it happen before but not often

The only time I have seen that happen is with an under tensioned (e.g. poorly fitted) belt which jumped, the cam then locks and the belt gets stripped. The only reason why we spotted the cause is beacuse I was curious as to the fault (mainly I wanted to know the cuase so as not to waste cash) and measured, checked and trial fitted a replacement belt using the original components in the original positions and it was slack.

Should I add that the one I repaired had been fitted by a main dealer in Leicester near the Rugby ground.....(about 6-7 years ago)  ;D ;D ;D :y

Once i got the head stripped i then carried on building a new wiring loom for the Manta. Reason for this is the old fuse box was in the way of the motor for the steering coloum so it needed moving and the onlt place to fit it was in the passangers side foot well. I've aslo gone from the old style fuse to the blade fuse by using a modded Mk3 Cav fuse box

Fuse Box so far

And how its forming on the dash support panel, the loom will run underneath the panel when iys finished. If your wondering what the geen ties are they are ties for holding up your plants

Played with mapping the gas map. Moved the dots up a bit so the green lime matched the blue line. Tickle here, tickle there.

Btw, hot start available on the latest software. :y
