Changed 2 of the rubber boots on the Bullet's TRE.

Stripped handbrake, cleaned up, refitted, still every bit as shit as it always was, although the adjustment was done in a hurry due to light, my back, and the temperature beginning to bite.  No way should it ever get through an MOT. Running out of ideas on this one, its always been really poor.

I think he's every bit as sick of the Bullet's handbrake as I am.

As a thought, how easy would it be to plumb in a hydraulic handbrake :-\ the nearside mechanism seems to take a pounding in the wet weather...

Today, I've readjsuted the handbrake, as yesterdays was a bit rushed due to time/light/temp/pain

Still no bleeding good  >:(.  Here's hoping its "good enough" for MOT.

Took it down to my mate's garage, on the 2 post lift, and removed old exhaust. 1 cat to mid section bolt snapped. Better than I feared.

Just waiting for the rest of the exhaust now. >:( At this rate I won't be able to get a re-test. >:(

Fitted replacement lock motor (Thanks Robsey) and replaced both sidelight bulbs on the Estate.  :y

Admired the <2mm of tread on the rears of my DTi...  :'( .....still.... paid the insurance renewal on it so it's had enough spent on it for this weekend!

WTF?

You'd get several times that putting spares up for sale on here/Ebay and weighing in the rest!!

Someone on VODC just weighed in a 3.0 Elite that had a blown engine and got back the £200 odd he'd
paid for it a few weeks previously (when it still ran - just).
