Had a quick look at how easy or otherwise its going to be to change the handbrake cable on the cavalier, which snapped this morning.First impressions are that it wont be a five minute job.No need to panic though as the MOT runs until august. :D
Cleaned all the oily covered crap out of the boot and interior while I was there, changed the inline prefilter, checked fluids, checked tyres and noted that at least three of them need changing pretty soon. Fleabay here I come. ;D

Drove the M3 with the roof down .. at least part way down the M3 (the road, not the car, this time) until we stopped at Winchester and put the roof up; sunny but freezing cold and the M3 has the most pitiful heater in the history of convertibles..

I'd forgotten how much fun it is to drive (especially now it has discs & pads on the front rather than metal pad backing against rusty lip for brakes  ;D:)

Spent 3 hours yesterday treating the leathers to gliptone and a few hours last weekend cleaning and polishing the interior trim. Felt like a weekend wasted in a way because of the time it took. Looking very good for a 12 year old car, in fact I think it will give twiglets a run for its money
