Drove the MV6 again. I love it. I just instantly feel at home, once foot is readjusted for TC pads.

Then had a lack of talent moment. 'dangle berries'.

Oops :-\ does Mrs TB know and did she laugh ::) more to the point, can you fix it?
Aye, she saw. She muttered something about I'd rant at her if she'd done that. Which is probably true ;D

I should look at it really, but can't be arsed  :-[.

A job for tomorrow while St Ella is chilling in the fridge :y

I'm not that concerned, it was a silly little scrape. I've lived here 12 years, and that drainpipe has always been there  :-[ ;D

Replaced droplinks and got the car loaded for a 450 mile round trip to pick up another Carlton tomorrow.

Is that a project for the road or just destined for spares  ;)

Changed the rear springs.Took 40 minutes start to finish to do the first one and 25 minutes to do the second.First time I did the job (about 5 years ago) it took me nearly all day.Its nice to know Im getting better at something,as Im definitely getting worse at most things. ;D

I knew the o/s spring was broken in two halfs but also discovered the top coil broken off the n/s one when I removed it.No wonder the car had been handling extremely strangely recently. ::)

Nothing really, just put petrol in the old Rover and drive it. It's getting a bit boring and I think I need a project ::)

Never tried polishing a drainpipe - suggest fine wet and dry followed by cutting compound (G2), then waxed.  Good luck with it Jaime :y
