Gave the TD a thorough pre-holiday season going-over.

Securely supported the car on stands, removed all the wheels and checked/cleaned all pads/discs.
Lub'd front calliper sliders and generally fettled the handbrake shoes/mechanism. No adjustment needed and nowt amiss! ;)

Changed all the leak-off pipes, then used 'Wonder Wheels' to clean both sides of each wheel. :y

Youngest grandsons (aged 9 and 6) also (kinda) helped:

"Where's Gramps' windy gun?"

"Nearly finished ready for goin' to Welland and Newent!"

"How come I've gotta clean the insides of the wheels?"

"My big brother's doin' the hard work - I'm supervising!"

A busy, though enjoyably informative couple of hours spent out in "Grampa's Fixi-it Shop"! ;D

I tried to do some work in the garage, got hacked off with how untidy and lacking in space it was so Amy & I spent most of the day tidying & cleaning it ... and failed to do any work on the actual car  :-[

All the bits on the bench are now ready to go off to be refurbished:

That's two far too tidy garages 8)

I can only get into mine because the washing machine is in there and needs to be accessible. Damned if I know what else is in there though :-[

I finished polishing my Headlights using a 3M polishing kit, well worth the money.

I once found a Nova in my old garage, that I'd completely forgotten I'd put in there (in the days before SORN and all that 'dangle berries').

I did wonder if I might have a Granada buried in there somewhere, but on balance I'm fairly sure there isn't as the garage doesn't smell of damp rusty Ford ;D
