I haven't actually tried it (the clingfilm)

I use a brake pipe fitting and a short length of brake pipe (sealed with solder) to plug any open end until I am ready to refit.

To be worth doing you need an airtight seal, I imagine you will need screw pressure to achieve that but screwing the cap on may tear the cling film :-\

The clingfilm trick does work and slows down fluid leakage from an open joint - I use old brake fittings with other end sealed (as per Andy H) :y

Just waxed and polished it,for the first time in about a year.  :-[  Despite the fact that its unfortunately silver,it came up rather nicely. :)
Its amazing how many little stone chips its picked up since last time it had a polish. ::)
Better get the little touch up bottle out again. ;D

Adjusted the handbrake ready for the Mot next week ::) and cleaned the inside while I was at it.

I can't get over just how dusty drunk people are ;D will probably seek out some Albanians to wash it tomorrow as no doubt the seagulls at work will crap all over it >:(

Swore at the rear shock when it wouldn't come free of the hub carrier..
Then swore even more at the other one when it came free of it's rubber bush and the bush stayed stuck in the carrier..

Offered my body to my MOT man in exchange for a new ticket  :-X

He declined my body BUT he did pass the MOT with only a couple of slightly dodgy tyres and a number plate needed  :y :y :y

Well happy bunny and I didn't have to drop my pants either which is a bonus  ;D ;D ;D :D :D :D

Slapped a pair of tyres on the back of the bullet.  I think its fair to say that I had had my moneys worth from the old ones, but its still an expensive affair when they were only fitted on 2nd Feb 2013.
