Put the winter tyres on it.. noticed the front brake pads are a gnats hoojit away from metal, better add that to the list..

I do  but only intermittently and not every journey, so I just assumed it was a wiring fault..

Filled it with more spares  Cant get in the boot anymore its full

Put 17" back on, and fitted a new set of pads on front.

Put it on blocks, prepping to change fuel pump. Disappointed, no pump access plate for me. Down with the tank. 140,000 miles/225000km riding on vapors finally caught up.   

Howdya figure that lift the trunk carpet, right hand side halfway towards the seat about 8"diameter, secured by four screws...

I saw a post in this forum about that very issue. Went to the trunk, lifted the carpet, scraped sound deadener from the circular area and no screws. However, before I put the tank back there will be a access hole cut.

Sounds like someone has BTF out of the boot floor

Not fitted with sound deadening there... It's an integral part of the carpet at best...

Maybe the access was deleted to meet Federal/state regulations
