V6 valeted & new set of wiper blades fitted, used Halfords ones again ( set28)...

They are shite, I've had 2 pairs myself on both 2.2 and 3.2, fine for a month or two, but they are very loud, each time they change direction "CRACK"

Switched to Bosch ones, also on Halfrauds trade, they feel far superior in terms of build. Also super silent, time will tell but going by here, they last a lot longer. Not the crappy 3 months or so Halfrauds own stock did.

Still ok on price, think they were £11 on trade, compared to £19

only ever used GM ones. :y

Used to use them, but silly prices now even on trade :(

Low Oil warning came on the display 60 miles from home, Did check the oil before setting off and it was one level below full and when I pulled over after the warning it had barely 2 levels, Checked around too see if it was leaking oil and there was not a drop anywhere or at home, By the way it doesn't smoke either, I topped it up by 1L at a garage just encase as I was a little worried, First time I've seen that warning pop up. Although it hasn't had a drop of oil since it was changed in June 2013 and a few thousand miles driven. Normal usage for a 190k car I presume  :-\

Wondered why the heater wasn't working .. noticed the outside temperature display now reads 'F ºC' - I'm sure it was working last night when I parked up  ::)

Another job on the really long list. The list that's rapidly becoming "The list of reasons I want to replace my damn car."
