Pressed new GM rear bushes in the wishbones, changed the front shocks, mounts and springs and changed the rear springs.
To do the rear springs, I used the very helpful guide and I like the bit in the guide that says "Now remove the bolts securing the bottom ends of both rear shock absorbers and
pop the shock bottoms out of the recess in the rear hub assembly. Yeah right, that was going to happen wasn't it.

Mine were
popping nowhere, so I took the easier option of undoing the top shock mounts and lowering them instead.

Do I feel satisfied...... no I don't. I feel ill, really ill. After two days of swinging on a torque wrench, under the car and swapping spring compressors from one set of springs to another I ache like hell. I even struggled to get the wheels back on, it was that bad. When I sat in the bath it felt like somebody had set fire to my knees and when I get up out of the chair there isn't a part of me that doesn't hurt.

I'm going to try to numb it with a few Stella's but I can't see that working. Maybe it's time to admit that I'm too old for it all.
