Washed it. It was so filthy it was hard to tell it was actually silver.  ::)

Looked out the rain beaten kitchen window at the front of the car and thought...." I really must paint that yellow washer bottle cap black" as it looks like a fried egg through the Irmscher grille ;D

Job for warmer drier days  ;) :)

Having an issue trying to figure out where a all the wiring goes at the front of the car, ie which wires go on which route!!! The cars been apart for a while now and I'm having a serious brain fart....
Looking for anything specific  :-\

Yeh... everything front end related.... could do with anther car just to look how everything goes really....

If it can wait until after christmas I can run mine over for you to compare/study. I also MIGHT have a load of photos of when I stripped mine down.( need to sort laptop out to check)

Ripped one of the skirts off in a poxy puddle >:(

Wouldn't be a big deal, but...
1. you can no longer get them.
2. I also ran it over, so it's split.
3. did I mention, you can no longer get them.

Also lost all the clips along the lower edge :-\

Guess what I'll be doing on Boxing day ::)

Tbh, it was almost expected... I get frustrated by people closing roads by having to change post codes at the first hint of water, so I tend to work on the basis that if you can see the curb, it's not that deep, and plough throw it accordingly ::) 45 might have been a tad quick though :-X

I have some suitable epoxy, and glacier white is impossible to mismatch so I shall repair it then pop into Halfords on Friday for some paint :y

I hit a big one yesterday at speed, quite high speed. Not sure of the actual speed, as I was nailing the brakes as hard as I could before it, and slammed it in to 1st to ensure the revs were up going through it. I know it didn't actually change into first until I was aquaplaning across the first bit of the puddle, before sinking down into it. Based on that, I'm guessing it was initially above the 1st gear threshold.

No parts lost (AFAIK) though, although once the car had dropped down in it, I was a walking pace to prevent a bow wave coming above the intake.

Today I am mostly spraying a Mercedes rear door and trying to break the bead of a tyre on a Merc alloy, which steadfastly refuses to budge despite the full weight of a Transit minibus sat on top of it.  ::)
