Just bought a 98 MV6 manual to use as a track car so I'll be stripping it as much as possible to lose some weight. Anyone fancy a thrash around Oulton Park :)

Inbetween heavy showers fitted new top hose and refilled with nice fresh 50/50 gm coolant after replacing thermostat in the week.

Fired into life on first turn of key and after few minutes settled down to a really nice smooth idle.Checked temp gauge and sat bang on mid point after only a short while and tophose gave the reassuring gush of hoot water to prove all is good.

Final top up after thorough check..heater nice and hot and all water tight so job, jobbed :y

MoT tomorrow, so gave the TD a final fettling:

Then an Italian Tune-up over the hills to Swansea. Back home via the M4 ... effortlessly! 8)

Will make a decision on it's future here thereafter :-X

Discovered that either:

a) The self levelling pump/sensor etc is not working or
b) The self levelling cannot cope with the weight of ~24 paving slabs in the boot

Chrisgixer wonders why Aaron transports so many paving slabs?

Didn't you post similar before, or am I fuddled again?

No no no.. that was carpet tiles! ;D

These are paving slabs for a shed base and/or patio and/or garden path. A friend of mine is having his garden landscaped and so had all the old (perfectly good) slabs available for free.. seemed rude not to.

[edit] And in total we transported a lot more than that split between two estates and a trailer..
