Drove it to Wolverhampton, parked it in a city centre car park, and now can't remember which one. Not aided by several pints of San Miguel.

Sod it, I'll just wear the same clothes again tomorrow :-[
Tomooorw I need to make a proper effort to find it, rather than getting lead astray by workmates...
Maybe tomorrow. Lead astray again. I'll be glad to be home, my body can't deal with this abuse any more  :-[

Will you have to pay on collection?

Fitted some wiper blades as the old ones were ... well ... dead! The new ones cost £3.47 inclusive of V.a.t for the pair (and not from ecp before you say). Apparently they are distributed by Lucas U.k so I would presume made by them also??? Don't seem too bad but time will tell, I really don't care if they last 2 weeks given the price  ;D

Fitted the N/S Irmy side skirt (after driving around with 1 Irmy and 1 standard for months! ::)), adjusted the handbrake and started attempting to patch the exhaust so I could get it through the MOT without delay only to discover the hole was a bit bigger than I first thought (about 1*14"!!! :o :o)

A trick my grumpy MOTer taught me is exhaust paste the hold, wrap paper round it and hold by hand whilst the exhaust warms up until it goes off, paper can be left in place. It will only last a few days, but gets you through until new exhaust arrives.

(Yesterday evening) watched the Master try to fix my car again. One step at a time, I'm sure we'll get there with it. Hopefully, the remaining problems are within my capabilities and expanding tool set.

Today - I was supposed to be sorting out my rocker cover gasket, but decided it needed new exhaust centre sections instead... so Iv fitted them...

I did - however - ask a nice exhaust place how much it would be for them to replace the centre sections on both sides and ONLY the centre sections.... they came back with a price of £349.56...!!!! so after i picked myself up off the floor after my fit of giggles, I promptly said no... drove 100yds down the road from them and collected me 2 nice new shiney centre sections for the grand total of - - - - - - £90 :)

Bit of a difference there I think .....
