Fitted new exhaust... not entirely happy with the back box position, but it seems to be air tight. Pipes not quite as accurate as a genuine one, but about half the price, so not unreasonable  :y

Re positioned back box, now sits squarely in its place. Tail pipes are a touch short, but are at least central :y

And washed both of them... apparently the Mercedes is white, rather than creamy grey :-[

Battery charged.  Thought I'd use the Omega to nip to Wickes for some central heating cleaner & inhibitor.

Good news: Battery started the car twice.

Bad news: It's probably still goosed.

Good news: All three fans now work magically by themselves

Bad news: With all three running it still nearly hit the red mark..

Experimented with an MP3 input.

Not my car, but we finished the work on Richard's Capri that we started last week. So it's had RS turbo front brakes, Land Rover master-cylinder, custom braided hoses, single-leaf rear springs complete with all polybushes(including the one for the handbrake rod on the diff cover), axle location kit, stiffener plates for the diff cover, gas rams for the bonnet and an injected Pinto head with FR34 cam. Next job is to fit the EFI once we've tidied up the 2.8i tank and sorted a fuel pump.

May I ask, where did you get the air box screws? As I noticed one missing on mine and was told by Vx parts that they are not available separately.

Busy Busy Day

Went out with swmbo and we bought her a 2011 Corsa SE 1.4 Auto. Nice little car

More carbon fibre wrapping, did the drivers door

Installed my new stereo and the wrapped bits, thanks to Mr Gav for his help with the stereo

Mini me suggested I did thiis bit as well.

Looks OK but would do better with dark light & roof control. Are these available?
