I wonder if Mrs TB has a tape measure, I could measure it.

But the Irmscher bumper does hang a lot lower than a std bumper (PFL or FL). Still, it needed respraying again anyway  :-[

They all (air dams) rub to a certain extent, so it is lower of course. Where as the standard one has a rubber strip. So by default you do have to be carefull. I know TB doesn't comprehend this concept, but common sense must prevail. Surely?

Address the glaringly obvious and correct the ride height.

I wonder if Al's rubs.. ? Knowing his car sits much higher.

Here's a thought...

Given that Tunnie is sooo keen to shift his 3.2 now he can't get a buggy in with the wheels on, howabout you replace TBE with Ts and fit the wheels, bumpers and skirts to it. Swap the lpg kit over as well and you will end up with a chavved nice Irmscher Elite which, like mine, is perfectly capable of negotiating speed humps at, er, speed... :y

If you ask nicely, he might even let you have it as a straight swap for the lpg kit from the Bullet ;)

Ohhhh yes I can, you are maybe thinking of the 2.2  :D

Which is why you're replacing it with an estate :P

Anyways, I have found you a buyer for it, and if you're lucky, you might get a serviceable 3.0 lpg kit for it :y

Err TB running an Elite on Elite Suspension... nope....

Can't say I would ever consider that either. Find my MV6 springs (brand new from VX - Germany) and B4 shocks on the 2.6 feel soft compared to the Eibach and B4 suspension on the 3.2 but it's a compromise I have to make to get the ride height for the future LPG and my work 'stuff' in the boot.

Is it sagging? Poorly fitted? The cross member could be raised on the bolt holes. And what does the ride height measure?

I don't believe so. She's gone out in it tonight, so can't measure.

I do just think the Irmscher bumper is low, and additionally, low further forward, with lowest point being right at the front. The OE bumper's lowest point is the rubber, and that's further back.  If that makes sense?
