Cornwall to Oxford & back to take SWMBO to a hospital appointment.

400 miles and 8 hours of driving for a 20 minute consultation.

My facelift elite turned over 191K somewhere around Bristol.

235/45R17 tyres do grip better than the 16 inch tyres on my pre facelift but they are unbearably noisy on the crap surface on the M5 & M4 between Exeter & Oxford  :( my ears are ringing  :(

Finally have working Air Con in the black Omega, thanks to Al fitting a new condenser yesterday, and a nice Kwikfit trip today. Got a massive discount on the £49 air con thing they do, so was pleased. Booked the marked police Omega in for MOT, clearly not at Kwikfit  ;D

take dust caps off and check valves, same way as you check tyre valves, because when they are all hooked up,they wont show a pressure drop on the gauges.

Evidence of a minimal leak (dye under cap) at the small high pressure valve, but condenser is of indeterminable age, so probably going porous :y

Both valves were replaced with new last year prior to regassing, rechecked for tightness and all seemed well, ie it was fully home. Definitely going somewhere as the machine only got 102g out :o

don't know what the pressure valve works at. They use to cost £65.00
