Oh, and treated it to some oil, again as the CID warnings were getting tedious

Finished off the rear suspension on the black beastie... Only serves to highlight how shockingly Donald the front end is ::)

Tries to find out where I could get an expansion tank from for my Omega with sensor .... can't find any anywhere, am I looking in the wrong places .....? The sensor is buggered on mine and keeps telling me to put some water in when it doesn't need it and getting a bit pee'd off with it now... Iv changed the sensor but its still doing it and the floaty thig inside the expansion tank is fine and moves about freely....

About £25 from your local dealer. Probably have to order it in though.

Only proper Vx dealers around these parts mate, and Iv got to know the parts supply people quite well too :)

I'll just get 1 from elsewhere, or just walk in with the part number and get them to order it...

Last time I went to the Vx dealers it was for a set of HT leads and thats when they came back and said the parts for the Omega's are getting obsolete now as they're getting to be over 10 years old....

Thought I'd broken the Omega.  ::)  Just going for the big overtake and the MIL starts flashing, followed by it being permanently lit up with definite misfire.  :(
Nursed it in to the services (about 100 metres away as it happened), did pedal trick and got 0300 and 0304. Typical that it was passenger bank.  ::)  Removed cable tray, popped out coil pack and its bone dry in all pots.  :y  Checked the other bank and bone dry in there as well.  :y

Me has wet sponge on scuttle so bit late to get the sealer out.  ::) All running fine again now so I'll sort it, and the coil pack, when I do the cambelt.

Longest job was getting the cable tray clips undone.  >:( ::)
