Fitted the heated over seat , now i have heated legs and back together with a control switch for multiple massages  :)

I'm in the market for one for the van... Which did you get and is it any good?

They had them for £10 in ALDI the other day. Nearly bought one for the roller skate, but decided I'd get laughed at. ::)

Investigated for any under-the-skin damage from the Insignia vs Omega 'conversation'  ::) as there's a light knock from the front every now and then, over bumps. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, annoyingly. Apart from the the damper/upright seems loose when no weight is on it  :-\ Will as in a new thread about this, also will check in the scrappy today on other Omegas...

Re-greased the NS caliper slide bolts and points of contact between pad and caliper, as they seemed pretty dry, strangely.

Checked torque on all nuts and bolts on the NS front suspension, in case anything was coming loose. All seems fine.

Knocking could be drop links... strut will seem loose with no weight on it as it is located to the body by the weight of the car... car on ground, remove the top plate and retorque the nut beneath it and report back re knock

Dry nearside caliper to be expected following the puddles from last weeks storms...

Usually is droplinks, yes. I looked at them, all seemed fine (they're 6 month old ATP ones, too, so hopefully not duff!) but will keep this in mind.

Just seemed bizarre that after all that suspension work I never had cause to 'wiggle' the upright to see it move. I think that'[s the hidden curse of the aftermath opf a car accident - every single little knock, squeak or groan becomes "what was that?! Did that do that before? Is that normal?! That noise, is that new?" etc...

Thanks, mind put at ease now  :y

I want it exactly how it was before Saturday.

Its possible one of the polys has shifted a tad, as one side had a fair amount of movement compared to t'other...   ...but on the unloaded wheel when it keeps trying to overtake the front  :-\

Might have access to a pair, condition currently unknown...

What happens if removed and left off? Presumably body sits ontop of the diff :-\
