I do not wear baseball caps sideways..  ::) Everyone knows you wear them backwards to keep the sun off your neck.. ::)

Absolutely.. ;D A white Audi (minicab) decided he wanted to take my front wing off as he swung across three lanes coming off the M25 onto the A30 toward Staines (south) so I gave chase a little too enthusiastically  :-X

Stripped some bits off the spare Omega

carpet off bootlid,
boot plastic trim panel around lock
Moved bonnet (which was just on by gravity, haven't put the bolts back in yet, due to one going missing  :D)

Put small, deep scratch in the good wing I need for my car  ::) >:( Still, it's better than the hugely dented on I currently have. It's one of those months/years....

Stripped all the screws off the doorcards, ready for removal, and swapping electric window motors etc if I need them.

Took 2.2 across the Dartford Crossing, that new dart charge works well.

Now all I need is a James Bond style rotating number plate  ::)

Fanx :)

Just had the polybushes delivered for the fron subframe, then a little bit of welding to be done to a sill then it'll be off for its annual test....

Need to sort front OS wheel arch as it catching on the tyre on full lock but that could just be the front subframe mount (when the front teardrop mounts are goosed, replaceing them lifts the whole front of the bodywork up slightly, believe it or not...)

Only had this Mini for a month and done quite a bit of work to it so-far... all for personal taste and its MoT...

When I got it, the front subframe wasn't even attached to the car, it was bolted to the bushes but not actually attached to the car itself....

Will also be fitting adjustable camber rear brackets too, and a full set of adjustable suspensions too...

It handles extremely well as it is (nowt can beat a Mini for road holding) but fitting negative camber rear brackets helps it around corners, as the original fixed rear camber helps it to oversteer at speed...

Wandered off to find the Battlebus this morning, as its not been used for a few weeks. Found it only a few hundred yards away. Started it, battery was definitely felt flat-ish. No scraper in the car. 'dangle berries'. Walked back home, grabbed scraper, walked back by which time it was just beginning to melt :)

Left scraper in the car now ;D

You've melted a scraper???? Presumably it was butane powered?
